Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As I mentioned to you in my last update, the talk of raising our state's gas tax refuses to die. In fact, Gov. Jay Inslee has made repeated calls for increasing the gas tax before the Apple Cup and legislators are being warned not to make plans for the end of November as we may be called into yet ANOTHER special session.
I've travelled around the district these past few months and have had the opportunity to touch base with many of you on this issue. I believe I know how the majority of you feel, but it would be nice to take solid data back to Olympia with me so that there is no mistaking where the citizens of the 39th District stand.
